ANYmal is a robot platform characterized by high mobility. So far it has been used mainly for research on locomotion, mobile manipulation and remote inspection tasks. However if the performance of the platform are considered, more energetic and direct interaction with the surrounding environment are feasible. The goal of this project is to design and build a drilling head for ANYmal, meant to be installed in a new lightweight body, fitted with vacuum feet for walking on vertical and over-hanging surfaces.
