Skeleton Estimation and Game Design for Real-Life Therapy Scenarios on ANYexo
These days, exoskeleton robots are frequently used to provide neural rehabilitation therapy to patients. Future robots should be able to work autonomously with the patient and provide virtual therapy exercises that are close to real-life scenarios, such as coffee drinking or cooking. You are going to design an intelligent game that considers the patient’s current pose and ensures safe interactions.

The scope of your project will be adapted to the type of your thesis. Work packages are:
• Literature research
• Implementation of a skeleton estimation algorithm to improve the robustness of the collision avoidance pipeline
• Design of a small game in Unity that incorporates the estimated pose
• Validation of the pipeline with hardware experiments and in simulation
