Application Development Scientist Internship
As an application development scientist at IRsweep, you will join our development team in improving our existing spectrometer product line and enabling new users to solve their scientific problems. This includes adapting the instrument to new applications and validating feasibility in new use cases. Being on the interface between engineering and users, you will be exposed to and gain insights on many aspects of the development of a high-tech product in a growing ETH spin-off company. As an intern at IRsweep, you can leave real impact on an industrial instrument and bring your own ideas into the project.
We can offer you first-hand experience in the development of a high-tech product in a young and growing company. You will be included in the decision-making processes on the market development and are encouraged to bring your own ideas to the project. You will interface with Research and Development as well as with the customer facing units and will get to see the impact of your contributions when rolled out to the customers. We employ agile development frameworks such as scrum and modern software development concepts such as test-driven development which are relevant in large variety of engineering and scientific positions.
IRsweep is committed to a collaborative, supportive and sustainable work environment with regular bidirectional feedbacks, flexible work hours and regular social events. We are also part of the Sensirion Holding group, giving you the opportunity to expand your network beyond IRsweep itself. Perks also include in-house gym access and a public transport subscription.
Be sure to also check out what other current and previous employees have to say at glassdoor.com
