Multi-robot Mapping, Navigation and Exploration (MA/SA)
Master/Semester thesis at the Autonomous Systems Lab at ETH Zurich. The mapping and localization team is looking for motivated students for projects in the field of mapping, localization, machine learning, exploration and 3D reconstruction.

**Potential Research Topics:**
- Improve feature-based localization using machine learning techniques (Deep Learning)
- Exploration: Detect and fill gaps in the existing map and extend it through exploration.
- Semantic mapping: Identify objects in RGB/RGBD images using machine learning techniques and incorporate them into the map.
- Online dense reconstruction based on RGBD sensor or offline multi-view-stereo reconstruction.
