In this thesis 3D Pose Estimation is used to analyze human behavior in reanimation trainings with a mannequin. The main goal is to measure how the participants interact with the mannequin to assess the emergency situation. The thesis is embedded in a research project in collaboration with the Simulation Center of University Hospital Zürich (USZ).

- Develop and implement new metrics based on existing 3D pose estimation code and data (e.g. distances, relative positions, angles)
- Research exisitng competence factors for reanimation training in literature
- Differentiate between team based and individual metrics
- Improve existing code to increase accuracy (e.g. implementing filters)

- Knowledge of programming and data processing (MATLAB) - Prior knowledge of OpenPose (optional) - Open minded problem solving - Ability to work independently with a structured approach - Good communication skills
The chair of Product Development and Engineering Design at the ETH Zurich considers itself a center for system-oriented product development and innovation. Our aspiration consists on the one hand of the advancement and investigation of methods and processes of product development and on the other hand of the development of new technical systems.
