Mobile Eye Tracking for Interface Design
Mobile Eye Tracking Study for Evaluation of Medtech Device in development stage.
Keywords: Mobile Eye Tracking Product Development Interface Design Medical Device Medtech Study Engineering
"Eye tracking (...) holds out the promise of another window into the mind: the semi-magical ability to know what people are looking at. (...) Eye tracking can provide another set of useful clues about what [people are] thinking and why the product is confusing them." (Boijko, 2013).
We are using mobile eye tracking to evaluate the design of user interfaces of tangible products.
The aim of this project is to compare classical usability validation methods with mobile eye tracking.
The evaluation of the user interface is made on a product in the medical industry. Its development is still ongoing.
