The Bosch IoT Lab is a cooperation of Robert Bosch GmbH, University of St. Gallen (HSG) and ETH Zurich. The lab is part of one of the leading Internet of Things research networks. We are exploring the Internet of Things in domains such as “Mobility”, “Industry”, “Energy” and “Health”, both from a technology as well as a business perspective. Our work aims to be rigorous – with impact in the related scientific communities – and relevant for Bosch.
**What do we offer?**
We offer you the unique possibility to investigate the managerial implications of the Internet of Things and to advance your scientific as well as entrepreneurial skills. You will work with a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team of young researchers in a very pleasant atmosphere. You take direct project responsibility and maintain close relationships with our research partners, e.g. Bosch, startups or renowned universities. Our research facility is always open to own proposals and further suggestions. Good conditions and work environment complete this attractive package. The average duration for successfully obtaining a PhD in our team is 3 1/2 years.

You have a strong interest in technology-based innovation. You hold a master’s degree with a technology and/or business background e.g. in management, economics, information systems, computer science or engineering with a GPA (Grade Point Average) of at least 5.0 (GPA of 2.0 and better in Germany or Austria) to be eligible for a PhD at the University of St. Gallen. Finally, a profound knowledge of German and English (written/oral) is required.
**Whom are we looking for?** You have a strong interest in technology-based innovation.
