3D Human Understanding
We provide several topics about 3D human pose/shape estimation and body reconstruction.

Estimating 3D human pose and shape is an important task in computer vision and has various applications. We provide several topics studying different aspects of this problem, leveraging knowledge from computer vision and deep learning. In particular, we are interested in
1) Multi-person 3D human pose estimation;
2) 3D human body reconstruction;
3) Human image synthesis/appearance modeling;
4) Improving optimization with learning techniques for body model fitting.
Applicants should have a background in computer vision and deep learning. In addition, familiarity with learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is required.
