Student Assistant (5-10h/week)
For a neuroscientific research project about decision-making and dopaminergic brain responses using real-time functional magnetic resonance imaging (rt-fMRI), we are looking for somebody to support the implementation of accelerated data processing approaches and technical setup of these experiments.
Your responsibilities:
• Supporting development of processing and analysis algorithms for fMRI data in real-time
• Programming scripts for data processing (Matlab, Python)
• Programming experimental paradigms with specific tools (e.g., PsychToolbox)
Qualifications: We are looking for an open-minded personality with the following skills and qualities:
• Engineering background, especially computer sciences or biomedical engineering
• Strong interest in scientific research, especially in brain imaging methods
• Interest to work in an interdisciplinary team
• Basic knowledge in data processing with pattern recognition approaches
• Curiosity, motivation, Self-reliance, inquisitiveness, tenacity, and discipline
• Reliability, integrity, and commitment
