Master's Thesis Digital Therapeutics - ETH/UZH/HSG/UniBe
The Centre for Digital Health Intervention (ETH, UZH, HSG) and the University Hospital of Old Age Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (University of Bern), jointly offer a Master's thesis investigating the effectiveness of the digital therapeutic «BEDDA» starting as soon as possible.
In your thesis, you will investigate to what degree the standalone digital intervention BEDDA (www.BEDDA.me) reduces the severity of subclinical depression, subclinical anxiety, and stress. The interventional components potentially leading to the improvement of these symptoms are a conversational agent (i.e., chatbot), guided gameful slow-paced breathing training (Breeze), and daily actionable advice (daily wisdom).
The available dataset consists of data from 124 participants who completed the intervention. Each of the assessments consists of a depression (PHQ-9), anxiety (GAD-7), and stress (TICS) measurement. For 35 participants data from a smartwatch is also available.
Keywords: digital health, digital therapeutics, mental health
**Requirements**
- Currently studying psychology, medicine, health sciences, or a related field
- Interested in digital therapeutics for subclinical depression, subclinical anxiety, and stress
