Product Development for Nepal
The extraction of carrot seeds is an extensive and time-consuming work. The Thesis aims to develop a low-cost solution facilitating the process of seed extraction. The work, which is in Cooperation with Helvetas, includes needfinding in Nepal and the development of a technical concept in Zürich.

The project aims at improving the poor working conditions in the carrot seed production in Nepal, which is currently performed manually. The thesis will be conducted in a cooperation of Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, pdz and the student project house.
