Master thesis in the field of additive manufacturing, product design, computational fluid dynamics and testing
This master thesis deals with a specific problem from the Sulzer product development portfolio, e.g. mixing nozzles for biological and technical applications.
Applicator Systems, a division of Sulzer Ltd, offers products and services for liquid application and mixing technology. Additive manufacturing (AM) allows a fast and low cost production of functional prototypes, which can be tested at an early stage of the product development process. Commercial simulation software can be used to solve fluid flow problems (Computational fluid mechanics (CFD)) as well as structural analysis of solids (FEA) in a wide range of industrial applications.
