Flexible Membranes for Micro-pollutant Removal from Wastewater
The aim of this work is to build a novel water purification reactor and integrate it with micro-porous membranes for removal of a vast variety of highly problematic micro-pollutants from wastewater.

The aim of this work is to build a novel water purification reactor and integrate it with micro-porous membranes for water purification. These smart membranes will be integrated within our novel water purification reactor that will remove micro-pollutants from polluted wastewater.
Removal efficiency of various problematic micro-pollutants such as, pharmaceuticals, insecticides, chemicals etc. will be tested with our reactor. We will also test this reactor directly at a Swiss hospital to test its pharmaceutical removal performance.
