M3 Rowing Simulator Data Analysis: EMG, Kinetic and Kinematic Evaluation
The current project consists an extensive data analysis based on conducted studies. Your task will consist of analyzing the large set of EMG (Electromyography), kinematic and kinetic data received from the simulator.

We investigate the effectiveness of augmented feedback modalities and modulation of task conditions to support learning of real-life, complex tasks. For this project, M3 rowing simulator is used to render different task characteristics and conditions. When appropriate training strategies are found, motor learning of a person can be successfully supported from a novice to an expert level for complex tasks/sports movements. Assessed methods are further employed in rehabilitation robots for the treatment of patients.

We are looking for motivated students with a keen interest in data analysis and a background in (bio)mechanical engineering or computer science who are proficient in the use of Matlab. Your task will include:
• Evaluation of EMG from upper body limbs, kinematic and kinetic parameters from the rowing simulator such as force data and complex angular movements.
• Creating illustrative figures from analysis results.
