Unfortunately, manual parameter tuning is a tedious and error-prone task. Automated algorithm configuration tools can find the best parameter configurations without (or with less) manual tuning, simplifying user intervention.

During this project, we will develop machine learning based techniques to develop a meta-algorithm to automatically tune parameters for (several) computer vision tasks.
