Performance analysis and characterization of a morphing quadrotor
The goal of this project is to study the impact of the morphology assumed by a quadrotor able to change its shape in-flight on the performance of its propulsion system.
The goal of this project is to study the impact of the morphology assumed by a quadrotor able to change its shape in-flight on the performance of its propulsion system. More specifically, it aims at characterizing the behaviour of the thrust produced by each propeller when (i) there is overlap among propellers and (ii) any of the propellers overlaps with the main body. Additionally, the project includes the implementation of a compensation scheme based on the results of such characterization.
