hemotune AG is a Swiss medical device start-up company originating from ETH Zurich. Our mission is to develop a life-saving breakthrough medical device for targeted blood purification, and we are currently in the preclinical development phase. To support our biotech team, we are looking for a:

R&D Intern (f/m/d, 6 months, 100%)

- Carry out experiments to support our interdisciplinary R&D and production team on the synthesis, analytical characterization, as well as functional testing of hemotune’s magnetic nanoparticles. - Assist in the pre-clinical evaluation of our unique magnetic blood purification technology. - Track, monitor, and report the project progress and deliverables, and present at internal meetings.

- Carry out experiments to support our interdisciplinary R&D and production team on the synthesis, analytical characterization, as well as functional testing of hemotune’s magnetic nanoparticles.

- Excited to work in a start-up environment. - M.Sc./B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedicine or Nanotechnology. - Proficient in English, German is a plus. - Experienced in working in a laboratory environment. - Familiar with chemical and/or biological standard lab techniques. Experience with nanomaterials is a plus.

- Excited to work in a start-up environment.
- M.Sc./B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedicine or Nanotechnology.
- Proficient in English, German is a plus.
- Experienced in working in a laboratory environment.
- Familiar with chemical and/or biological standard lab techniques. Experience with nanomaterials is a plus.
