Impedance–based Measurements in Microfluidic Platforms
we aim to use integrated electrodes in microfluidic platform as sensors for label free detection of growth of cells and small molecules secreted by cells/tissues. The integration of microfluidics and EIS would allow automated characterization of a wide range of compounds and their influence on cells

The student will work on the development of experimental procedures to parallelized measurements of cells and tissues in the designated microfluidic platform. The student will be in charge of improving the control of the experimental setup and the subsequent data analysis.
Desirable skills
- Basic programming knowledge (C, MATLAB, Python)
- Basic statistics
- Microfluidic fabrication processes (Soft lithography, SU-8, PDMS)
