4D Printing of Microrobot
As one of the microrobot's required functions, shape-morphing systems have been studied for a decade. The microrobot can change its shape under the stimulus of environments. However, small and unstable shape-morphing hinders its practical application.
In this project, the student will develop a 4D structure with large shape-morphing using simulation-based design, a nanoscale 3D printer, and smart materials.
