Eye Tracking Analysis of Human Interaction in Surgery Training
In collaboration with the University Hospital Zurich (USZ) a physical surgery simulator used for ECMO (extracorporeal life support) cannulation is investigated using mobile eye tracking.
In collaboration with the University Hospital Zurich (USZ) a physical surgery simulator used for ECMO (extracorporeal life support) cannulation is investigated. ECMO is a technique supporting a patients’ heart and lung by providing gas exchange or perfusion externally. At pd|z we have a simulator which allows to train performing the connection from the patient to the machine. The goal of this project is to use eye tracking to analyse human interaction with the simulator.
