Lumendo is a Medtech startup and a Spin-off from ETH Zürich and EPFL Lausanne. We develop injectable, photopolymerizable implants and the necessary accessory devices for application in dentistry, orthopedic and neurosurgery. We are looking for a scientist or engineer to help us turn our first prototype into a real product.
The root canals treatments are amongst the most difficult procedures in dentistry. Our goal is to improve this approach by developing a disruptive injection technology. To do this, we are combining cutting-edge fluid physics with device development.
You will be responsible for the technical development and testing our medical device prototypes. This will include designing and building of prototypes as well running some simulations. Furthermore, you will assist the team in setting up the pre-clinical as well as clinical testing of the prototype. This will give you the chance to interact with researchers from different fields, clinicians and regulatory experts relevant to development of the medical device. This is a fixed term position for 6-9 months based in Zurich.
