Internship/Master thesis Oncology NIBR Basel
We are looking for a highly motivated master student/intern to investigate the role of epigenetic factors as novel therapeutic targets in haematological malignancies.
Through the scientific intern program at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) you will gain valuable industry experience while being exposed to the exciting field of drug discovery. The project aims to understand the significance of certain epigenetic factors in the pathogenesis of lymphomas as well as determine their potential as drug targets. The applicant will establish and use a broad range of molecular, biochemical and cellular methods and technologies such as RNAi screening, virus production and transduction, cell culture, PCR and western blotting. **Requirements**
Fluency in English, strong interest in oncology and epigenetics, cell culture experience necessary, experience with lentivirus is an advantage.
