D-HEST Research Internship on Wearable Robotics
Work with the Myosuit, a novel wearable robot for movement assistance. Do hands-on field testing with patients. Explore new concepts from biomechanics and robotics.

- Gait Analysis and Biomechanics Basics
- Motion Capture Data Acquisition and Processing using VICON/NEXUS
- Respirometry using COSMED K5 system
- Acquisition and handling of related measurement modalities, e.g. EMG, GRFs, IMUs,...
- Application of GCP Basics and principles of study ethics
Study Work for Ongoing Projects
- Recruitment and communication with study participants
- On-site assistance during study visits (e.g. device and participant preparation, preparation of study location)
- Outside field tests with participants, visits to CHUV/Lausanne, NCCR fairs and demos
- Data processing and management on group drive/study folder --> Python and Matlab, maybe OpenSim
- Preliminary visualization of results for internal review meetings with collaborators (using Inkscape, Premiere Pro)
