Postdoc Position on the Interaction of the Circadian Clock System and Stress Axis Regulation
The Lubeck Institute of Neurobiology (Director: Henrik Oster) aims at filling the position (full-time)
of a Postdoc Position on the Interaction of the Circadian Clock System and Stress Axis Regulation
starting at the 1st of July, 2020 or later. The successful applicant will work on a DFG-funded project studying the interaction of the circadian clock system with acute and chronic stress axis regulation. Funding is initially limited until the 30th of June, 2023.

Requirements
• hold a very good Master s degree and a finished PhD degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular life sciences, molecular medicine or similar
• High motivation, solid organizational and strong teamwork skills, fluency in English and the willingness to work with tissues from humans and mice.
• Experience in mouse experiments, molecular and cell biology techniques and a thorough knowledge of physiology and genetics are advantageous.

Opportunities will be provided to supervise BSc and MSc thesis projects and to engage in undergraduate teaching at the university. We offer a research environment on a competitive level in an international and multidisciplinary team at the Institute and in the Center of Brain, Behavior & Metabolism (CBBM) research building. Personal scientific interests with regard to the planned research project will be considered.
