Controller Implementation and Commissioning of a three-phase PFC rectifier
xxx
Keywords: xxx
Celeroton's turbocompressor systems are typically supplied from a DC bus. In many applications, however, the customer also requires a supply from the three-phase AC mains. This can be achieved by utilizing the existing two-level or three-level inverter systems, which are used to drive the compressors, in reverse operation as three-phase PFC rectifiers.
The aim of this work is to implement the corresponding control firmware and to commission the hardware as a three-phase PFC rectifier. The control scheme is first designed and verified by means of a circuit simulation. The firmware is then tested on the existing hardware. Based on the knowledge gained, any hardware modifications are then implemented in a second step or an additional input filter is designed to suppress EMI disturbances. The practical and versatile work (includes control theory, software, hardware, EMC) is carried out at Celeroton in Volketswil.
