Automated Wound monitoring at home
In this study we aim to identify biomarkers on wound images in a clinical proof of concept study with diabetic foot ulcer patients
Keywords: study, biomarkers, clinical experimentation, mobile phone imaging,
We have developed innovative methods for collecting and analyzing large sets of standardized, structured, and chronological wound biomarkers on mobile devices.
We would like to actively engage patients in monitoring their own wounds and then develop automated algorithms for the accurate prediction of wound healing
This will hopefully lead to improvement of patient quality of life.

The goal of this project is to design and conduct the a pilot study for the testing of the imaging system based on the mobile phone and identify a series of biomarkers relevant for wound healing prediction
