Human amygdala lesions, social cognition and threat
A body of literature suggests specific contribution of human amygdala to social cognition and threat perception such as detection of emotional expression in others. You will mainly analyse existing pupil size and other behavioural data, and acquire a small number of data sets for one of the tasks. Data analysis will mainly rely on PsPM (pspm.sourceforge.net) in Matlab. We plan to publish these data.
Your profile
We seek either of these two profiles, depending on your background:
(1) Your background is in psychology, neuroscience, biology, or related fields, and you want to acquire data analysis skills.
(2) You have a background in any engineering or science field, and a strong interest in understanding neuroscience.
