Novel Biomedical Device (Implant and Smart Capsule)
The Langer and Traverso lab at MIT/Harvard Medical School (Brigham Women's Hospital) currently has several opening positions for students interested in translational research.
Keywords: Drug Delivery System
Biomedical Devices
Implants
Smart capsules
Lack of medication adherence is a worldwide problem. For this, the Langer and Traverso Laboratories have been developing novel biomedical devices (e.g. Implantable drug delivery devices and Smart capsules) that have demonstrated their great potential especially where they can allow precisely controlled drug release without the assistance of a health professional or the patient's awareness.

We currently have openings for B.Sc. / M.Sc. / Ph.D. students interested in a challenging, fast-paced,intellectually stimulating environment, with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical
Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Electrical Engineering. The
outstanding candidates will work closely with postdocs, graduates, and undergraduates from various backgrounds in the Langer and Traverso Laboratories at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)or Harvard Medical School (Brigham & Women's Hospital).
We favor students who can fulfill 9-12 months' commitments to stay at MIT or Harvard Medical School(Brigham & Women's Hospital). Only in exceptional situations will we consider short appointments.
Interested candidates should send a CV and transcript with grades and a brief description of their research interests and experience to Dr. SeungHo Lee (seungho2@mit.edu).
