Self-sovereign identity concepts are becoming popular in recent years, and many concepts are beginning to be standardized (e.g. Decentralized Identifiers, Verifiable Claims, ...)
In this work you will review these concepts from the perspective of a device identity for the Economy of Things that provides a basis for ad-hoc (business) interactions between machines.
You will gather requirements in collaboration with domain experts inside and outside of Bosch and evaluate the concepts based on these requirements.
This is a corporate thesis. This means you ideally are able to provide a chair for a joint supervision.
