Improving the Design Process of Magnetic Components through the Use of AI/ML Algorithms

xxx

Keywords: xxx

  • Magnetic components, such as transformers and inductors, are pivotal for advancing the field of power electronics. Leveraging these components to their full capability is essential for enabling the optimal use of Wide Bandgap semiconductor s in power electronics applications Frenetic, a pioneering startup based in Madrid & San Francisco with research office in Zurich , offers comprehensive solutions for magnetics from design to production, emphasizing the importance of accurate mode l ling. Currently, we are seeking motivated students that work on Machine Learning based approaches for the design of inductors in power electronics. Your goal is to obtain an optimized design regarding efficiency and power density. Ultimately, the design has to be verified with the inductor of a Buck converter. You will gain hands on experience, merging theory with practice , contributing to sign ificant advancements in power electronics.
