Influence of Backpack Weight and Hip Belt Tension on different gait parameter
Discomfort is a subjective perception and it can directly influence the user acceptance of a load carriage system. The influence of backpack with different load on the gait parameters is barely known. The goal is to analyze the effects of backpack load on kinetics and kinematics.
Keywords: Backpack, hip belt tension, human kinematics, human kinetics
Discomfort is a subjective perception depending on biomechanical factors like sore- ness, numbness, stiffness, or other comparable perceptions and it can directly influ- ence the user acceptance of a load carriage system. The influence of backpack with different load on the gait parameters is barely known. There is an existing data set of motion and force data of gait with backpack for different load conditions, recorded in our lab.
**Tasks**
Programming 30%, analysis and interpretation 50%, reporting and communication 20%.

The aim of this project is to process and analyse the data. The goal is to find the correlation between load in the backpack and several kinetic and kinematic gait parameters.
