The PhD position is concerned with the development of mathematical models for organogenesis. The successful applicant must be self-motivated and enthusiastic to develop data-based mathematical models in the field of developmental biology. The position is ideal for a student with training in both biology and computational techniques. Candidates must have a solid understanding of biological principles and processes, and must be experienced with using a programming language such as Matlab, Julia, Python, or R. As part of the PhD, the succesful candidate will also use finite element methods such as COMSOL, and C++ software. Prior experience with these is not required.
