Investigating Cytokine-Mediated Alterations in Hepatic Gluconeogenesis: In Vitro and In Vivo Insights

This project investigates how pro-inflammatory cytokines alter hepatic gluconeogenesis, a key process in maintaining glucose homeostasis. By developing and validating in vitro and in vivo assays, the study aims to analyze gluconeogenic changes under normal and pathological conditions. These insights will advance our understanding of cytokine-driven metabolic disruptions and support the development of new therapeutic strategies for metabolic and inflammatory diseases.
