Magnetism and Interface PhysicsOpen OpportunitiesThis student project focuses on the preparation of ultraclean graphene spin valve devices for spin-polarized scanning tunneling microscope (SP-STM) experiments. The main aim is to adapt an already optimized preparation recipe by integrating metallic contacts on top, to enable gate-tunable density of states experiments within the STM junction. The project involves hands-on tasks, including device fabrication and performing STM measurements to detect spin-polarized states on the graphene surface locally. - Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Physics
